Testing Center Parking and Directions

All vehicles parked on campus are subject to the University’s parking rules and regulations.  Failure to follow these rules and regulations may result in the vehicle being towed at the owner’s expense.

Should you park in an unapproved campus location or off campus, you are parking at your own risk and will be responsible for any associated parking fines. For any other parking questions, please view the Tech parking website or email parking@tntech.edu.

Parking at Tech

See below for weekday or weekend parking information.

  • Week Day Test Center Parking (M-F)

    Tech students and employees should park in their regular Tennessee Tech student parking lots (red,green, blue, purple or gold).

    Temporary visitor parking passes are available for non-students/non-employees utilizing the Testing Center. Contact the Testing Center at least 48 hours prior to your testing appointment at 931-372-3125 or testingcenter@tntech.edu for more information on how to obtain a visitor’s parking pass. 

    Please be aware that parking spots located at Foundation Hall are limited. Please make certain you allow plenty of time to, park, and make it to the Testing Center no later than 30 minutes prior to your scheduled exam.

    If you have mobility or health issues and have a disabled parking placard or license plate, you may wish to ask Tennessee Tech Police where accessible spaces near Foundation Hall are located.

  • Weekend Test Center Parking

    If you are scheduled to take an exam on a Saturday, you may park in the gold zone parking lot directly beside Foundation Hall.

    Tech Parking: Foundation Hall

    Please note this is ONLY for tests occurring on the weekend. If you park in these spots during the week without an authorized parking tag, you will receive a ticket or may be towed. 

  • Driving Directions to Foundation Hall

    From I-40, take exit 286 to South Willow Ave in Cookeville, TN;

    Turn north on Willow Avenue; 

    Follow Willow Avenue for 2.8 miles;

    Turn right on West 7th Street (at red light by the main Tennessee Tech sign) and continue on for 0.4 miles;

    Turn left onto Mahler Avenue and continue for 469 ft.;

    Slight right onto E. 8th Street and continue for .1 miles;

    Turn left onto N. Jefferson Avenue. Continue .2 miles. N. Jefferson becomes E. 10th Street. Foundation Hall will be on the left.
