Program Structure (16 Months)
- Fall (Year 1): Advanced CS coursework
- Spring (Year 1): Algorithms + Professionalism for Industry
- Summer (Year 1): Applied Industry Experience Internship
- Fall (Year 2): Industry-Sponsored MS Project
Admission to the track is selective and requires placement into an approved internship or project.
FAQ
Is this a professional master’s degree?
No. Students earn a traditional MS in Computer Science with an additional Certificate
in Applied Industry Experience.
Will this appear on my transcript or diploma?
The track does not appear on the diploma or transcript, but students receive an official
certificate.
Are internships guaranteed?
No. Participation requires successful placement into an approved internship or project.
Can students find their own internship?
Yes, with approval from the program coordinator.
Are international students eligible?
Eligibility depends on visa and work authorization requirements.
