Art Scholarships
Scholarships for BFA Majors
The School of Art, Craft & Design offers a range of scholarships and award opportunities beyond the general scholarships available to university students.
To apply for an art scholarship, you will be required to upload 5 images of your artwork and submit 50-word statements about what you make, why you make it and how you make it. You cannot save an application and come back later to complete it. Select the button below to start.

- Students are encouraged to read the information on the Tennessee Tech Scholarships site.
- Search for additional scholarships on the ScholarWeb.
- In order to be eligible for any Tennessee Tech Scholarship, all students must complete the ScholarWeb Application by December 15 each year.
› Amy Davidson Fibers Scholarship

Deadline February 1.
Awarded to one student who is an art major in a craft concentration, preference will be given to any fibers majors applying.
$500 scholarship to be applied to the upcoming fall semester.
Students must first submit their ScholarWeb application online by December 15.
› Anderson Bailey Clay Scholarship

Awarded to one student who is a BFA ceramics major.
$1500 scholarship to be applied to the upcoming academic year, half in the fall semester and half in the spring semester for full-time enrollment. The award will be pro-rated for part-time students.

› Approach the Light, the Becky Anderson Scholarship Endowment

- Must be an upper division student in good standing in accordance with current institutional policies.
- A non-traditional student is most desirable.
- Must have declared as Bachelor of Fine Arts.
- Must be studying at the Center for Craft.
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.50.
- Must be a full-time student enrolled in 12 or more hours.
- The scholarship is renewable.
› Bacchanal Art Scholarship

Deadline February 1.
Awarded to up to eight student who are art majors, the scholarship is not renewable and may be awarded to a student only once.
$2000 scholarship to be applied to the upcoming academic year, half in the fall semester and half in the spring semester for full-time enrollment. The award will be pro-rated for part-time students.
Students must first submit their ScholarWeb application online by December 15.

Awarded to one BFA glass student.

Awarded to one student who is a BFA painting major.
$1000 scholarship to be applied to the upcoming fall semester for full-time enrollment. The award will be pro-rated for part-time students.

Awarded to one student who is an incoming Freshman art major; it is not renewable beyond the Freshman year.
$1000 scholarship to be applied to the upcoming fall semester for full-time enrollment. The award will be pro-rated for part-time students.

Awarded to one student who is a BFA painting major.
$500 scholarship to be applied to the upcoming fall semester.

› Windgate Craft Scholarship

Deadline February 1. Students must complete the FAFSA.
Awarded up to ten students who are a craft studio major, this scholarship may be awarded to a student multiple times and incoming freshmen may apply.
$2500 scholarship to be applied to the upcoming academic year, half in the fall semester and half in the spring semester for full-time enrollment. The award will be pro-rated for part-time students.
