AUDITIONS FOR SPRING 2021 PRODUCTION
Failure: A Love Story
by Phillip Dawkins
Monday, February 22, 2021, 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm
THE STORY: By the end of 1928, all three Fail sisters will be dead-expiring in reverse order, youngest to oldest, from blunt object to the head, disappearance, and finally consumption. Tuneful songs, and a whimsical chorus follow the story of Nelly, Jenny June, and Gerty as they live out their lives above the family clock repair shop near the
Chicago River, before their time unexpectedly runs out. A magical,
musical fable where, in the end, the power of love is far greater than any individual’s successes or failures.
Roles are available for 3 women, 2 men
and an ensemble/chorus of 2-3 performers (any gender).
Auditions are open to all interested people.
No preparation is necessary.
Musical ability a plus.
Auditions will consist of cold-readings from the scripts.
Failure: A Love Story by Phillip Dawkins will be performed April 8-17, 2021.
Interested actors are encouraged to read the script in advance. You may borrow one for 24 hours from Mark Creter by contacting him at 931-372-3478 or email@example.com.
