Cyber Patriot Outreach Introduction

CEROC is excited to announce the relaunch of our CyberPatriot outreach program.  This program is designed to provide training material and possible financial support for middle school, high schools, and JROTC programs beginning their cyber competition journey into CyberPatriot.

From the AFA program website (https://www.uscyberpatriot.org/).

CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air & Space Forces Association to inspire K-12 students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation's future. At the core of the program is the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition, the nation's largest cyber defense competition that puts high school and middle school students in charge of securing virtual networks.

CEROC student affiliate members, many of whom have participated in CyberPatriot teams during their high school career, provide training materials and initial guidance to coaches and students beginning the journey.  As part of this effort, CEROC staff and students have created a five-part video training series providing an introduction to the program and initial skills training.
