Representatives from Canvas will be on campus August 3-5, 2026, to provide in-depth training with hands-on opportunities.     Enhanded Rubrics

    This 75-minute training session will explore the functionalities of Enhanced Rubrics, covering their creation, implementation across assignments, discussions, and quizzes, and utilization for student self-assessment. Participants will learn how to enable, import, and download enhanced rubrics, and understand their impact on both the instructor's SpeedGrader experience and the student's view of results and grades.     Outcomes and Competencies for Administration

    Please Note

    This training session is an informative session for department and school leadership. Additional offerings and information for general faculty sessions will be available at a later date. 

    This session is intended for Department Chairs, School Directors, and Dean. During this session, we will help you learn to manage Outcomes and Competencies at the account level in Canvas, create and upload Outcomes, align them with rubrics, and connect them to assessments across your institution. You’ll also explore rubric scoring in SpeedGrader, Learning Mastery Gradebook functionality, and key reporting tools available to administrators.
