Adding an Endorsement to Your Current Teaching License through Testing or Coursework
Before obtaining an additional teaching endorsement, candidates must hold an initial Tennessee teaching license.
From there, current teachers may choose to take additional Praxis exams or take additional education courses to complete a teaching endorsement. Each endorsement qualifies a candidate to teach in a specialized area.
See below for the endorsements available through Tennessee Tech, information about adding an endorsement - either through testing only or additional coursework.
