Adding an Endorsement to
Your Current Teaching License
Before obtaining a teaching endorsement, candidates must hold an initial Tennessee teaching license.
From there, teachers may choose to take additional Praxis exams or take additional education courses to complete a teaching endorsement. Each endorsement qualifies a candidate to teach in a specialized area.
