Alumni & Friends

We're looking for 50 alumni willing to pledge $50 each in support of current Honors
students. If you would like your gift to aid in conferences, research, study abroad,
and other career-building opportunities, please donate using this direct link to the
Honors Program section of the I Heart Tech Students campaign: https://1915.tntech.edu/pages/honors-program-1.
Thank you for considering to support our student's opportunities!
The Honors Program at Tennessee Tech University was founded in Fall semester of 1975. Hundreds of alumni representing nearly every major offered have engaged with the Program across its 50-year span. On November 1, 2025, the Honors Program celebrated its semi-centennial anniversary with over 50 Honors students, alumni, faculty, and friends. The image above is a photo from the event.
Our Honors alumni play a valuable role in the lives of our current students. Some options for involvement include:
- Joining the Honors Alumni Directory and signing up to mentor current Honors students
- Hosting an event, presentation, or similar meeting about your career or notable achievements
- Including your story and accomplishments in the latest Honors alumni newsletter, the Ginkgo Glimpse
- Donating to the Honors Program to help fund student endeavors, such as conferences
If you would like to share news, contribute ideas, or get involved, please contact Honors Director Mrs. Lindsey Roberts at LRRoberts@tntech.edu.
