Starting Summer Semester 2021new Intensive English Program |
Intensive English Program
Tennessee Tech is starting a new Intensive English Program from Summer and will follow the 10-week Summer term.
Students will take 18 hours of instruction in:
- Grammar & Writing
- Listening & Speaking
- Reading and Discussion
- Vocabulary Development
C.E.S.L. Courses (levels 1-5)
An ESL program, generally referred to as an Intensive English Program (IEP) in the U.S., is a language program in which the classes are non-credit. There will be two terms in Fall 2021 and two terms in Spring 2022.
- 18 hours of contact time is the minimum requirement by the USCIS/ SEVP.
- The C.E.S.L. program at Tech will be 18 hours per week, each session will be 7-weeks.
Cost for 18 hours for 7-weeks will be: $2400
ESL + Pathway
Students in Level 4 and 5 can enroll in Tennessee Tech University specific academic courses which will mentored as part of the Pathway.
