Canvas Content Review

As part of the transition to Canvas, faculty will be asked to review migrated course content. Additional information regarding the Migration process can be found on the Migration Information webpage and the Canvas Transition page provides insight into the transition process and overall timeline. Below we have outlined resources, training, helpful forms, and more for faculty to refer to after their course content has been migrated from D2L to Canvas. Please review the information below and contact citl@tntech.edu with questions.

  • Content Migration Overview

    Review Process

As part of the transition to Canvas, faculty can request to migrate course content from D2L to Canvas. To help ensure course content is migrated correctly and efficiently, Tennessee Tech has partnered with K16 and Canvas to migrate courses from D2L iLearn to Canvas for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027. Once content has been migrated to Canvas, faculty will follow the steps below.

    1. Login to Canvas and Access Your Canvas Course

    2. Review the Course Content in alignment with Faculty Course Review Checklist.

    3. Complete request forms (as needed).

    4. Utilize resources for training, workshops, and meeting with a member of the CITL team to answer questions and help prepare your course for students.

    5. Work on the final touches for the upcoming semester.
