Program Testing Information

About the Educational Testing Service (ETS) and Praxis

The Educational Testing Service (ETS) administers a wide range of comprehensive, benchmark tests for students and educators from the SAT for high schoolers, the GRE for undergraduates entering a master's program, to the Praxis Series for Educators, and more.

The Praxis tests measure teacher candidates’ knowledge and skills. The tests are used for licensing and certification processes.

When you take a Praxis Test - be sure to enter Tennessee Tech University as a score recipient (Tech School ID Number: 1804).

Visit ets.org to learn more about the Praxis Series.
