Fraternity & Sorority Life

Welcome to Fraternity & Sorority Life

Who We Are

Fraternity & Sorority Life at Tennessee Tech includes 21 values‑ and culture‑based chapters made up of both men and women dedicated to community, academics, leadership, and personal growth. Our community is organized into three governing councils plus one coed Latino organization.

Not sure which council fits you? Explore each one below.

Councils

College Panhellenic Council (CPH)

The College Panhellenic Council represents Tennessee Tech’s sorority community, focusing on scholarship, leadership, service, and sisterhood. CPH supports women’s organizations that value personal development, community involvement, and strong lifelong connections.

Interfraternity Council (IFC)

The Interfraternity Council oversees Tennessee Tech’s men’s fraternities, promoting leadership, academic success, brotherhood, and campus engagement. IFC chapters offer opportunities for personal growth, service, and building strong networks that last beyond college.

National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)

The National Pan-Hellenic Council is home to Tennessee Tech’s historically Black fraternities and sororities, known collectively as the Divine Nine. NPHC organizations emphasize cultural heritage, academic excellence, service, and community empowerment.
