- » Spring Continuous Open Bidding (COB)
Continuous Open Bidding (COB) is a flexible, low-pressure way to join a Panhellenic sorority outside the formal recruitment process. Instead of structured rounds, sororities host small, welcoming events where you can meet members, explore their values, and see if the chapter feels like a good fit.
COB is available to chapters with open membership spots and provides students with a relationship-focused way to find community on campus.
Key Dates
- COB typically begins on the first day of the spring semester
- The process continues until all available membership spots are filled
- Look for more information about that later in the fall
Requirements to Join a Panhellenic Sorority
To be eligible to join a fraternity or sorority, students must meet the following:
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 from high school or college
- Community service experience
- Involvement in clubs or community activities
For COB, students must register and provide consent to release their GPA to participating organizations via the registration link.
