The Financial Aid Navigator Series
Our Navigator Series events are designed to educate current and incoming students on the ins and outs of Financial Aid, including the FAFSA process, financial literacy, and paying for college.
When: Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 5:30PM - 8:30PM CT
Where: Roaden University Center Multipurpose Room, on Tech's Campus
Join the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships for our annual Early Bird Tour, where new, returning, and future college students and their parents are invited to campus to learn more about financial aid and complete their 27/28 FAFSA Application, all with support from the professionals. Plus, those who attend have a chance to win Tennessee Tech swag and other AWESOME prizes!
At Early Bird Tour, we can help you:

Create a FSA ID on studentaid.gov (for both students and parents) and complete your 27/28 FAFSA

Register for TSAC Portal on collegefortn.org

Access Tech Express for the first time and provide an introduction to financial aid related systems

Apply to Tennessee Tech, with help from our wonderful Admissions team!
The Early Bird Tour is open to all students and family members, so feel free to register or drop by to learn more about financial aid opportunities!

For those joining us, please consult the below information so you know what you'll need to bring to complete certain processes!
- If you require assistance with creating a FSA ID/TSAC account, please have ready or bring: an email account to register (non-school issued address is preferred), your birth date information, and have memorized or bring a copy of your social security number.
- For first time Tech Express users, please have: your Tennessee Tech-issued email address and your Tech-issued T-number. If you are a recent admit, both are listed in your admittance confirmation email!
- For FAFSA completion: students and/or parents should bring copies of their 2025 tax return forms.
