Student Activities

Student Organization Rules and Regulations

All student organizations must complete online registration for table reservation. All registrations are subject to approval by the Office of Student Activities and Campus Life. Due to limited space, organizations may only use the table provided. Tables are assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Electricity will not be provided.

  • Prohibited Items

    No generators, amplification systems (including bullhorns & electronic megaphones), no games that resemble or influence binge drinking, no grills or smokers, no dunk tanks or inflatable games, no glass containers or objects of any kind.

  • Mix & Mingle  Safety Guidance

    Due to the large number of students attending this event, Student Organization Mix & Mingle safety guidance will be implemented this year.

    • No more than 2-4 members of each organization shall be stationed at a table.

    • Participating student organizations are required to provide contact information for any members stationed at a table to the Office of Student Activities and Campus Life at

    • Tables may not be moved.

    • No tables will be allowed other than the ones provided by the Office of Student Activities and Campus Life. These tables will be sanitized before use.

    • Table locations will not be available before 3:30PM on the day of the event. Student organizations will be assigned a table, with the name of a student organization listed on each table. Check in will be on the RUC backyard.

    • All food and beverage giveaways are required to be prepackaged and any student organization distributing food or drink are required to wear gloves and face coverings or they will be asked to not give away food of any kind.

    • No grills or smokers of any kind.

    • All handouts must be distributed individually by the student organization or have a digital file to provide students through the use of QR codes or web addresses.

    • Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the event locations.

Student Organization Informational Videos

A virtual Mix and Mingle will also be available to students. Student organization videos will be hosted on The Student Involvement and Leadership Center YouTube channel. Please see the following guidance on requirements for videos.

  • Videos length may only be between 1-2 minutes.

  • Videos should include a short introduction and a description of the purpose of the student organization along with any social media information.

  • Videos should include contact information for the student organization, however it is recommended to not include phone numbers or student email addresses. Please use an email such as Gmail for the student organization.

  • Videos may only be submitted to

  • All videos will be reviewed prior to posting. Any required changes will need to be addressed by the student organization before posting.
