Change Champion Network Components

The Tennessee Tech Change Champion Network (CCN) is a unified group of employees – Tennessee Tech project sponsors and employee agents who share a common vision for change and a personal commitment to enable change across the organization. Change Champions are leaders of change tasked with providing input and feedback within the Tennessee Tech organization, as it relates to the project. Peers look to them for information, guidance, and reassurance as the project progresses.

Talon Key Messaging

» The challenge = complex
» The solution = modern
» The Approach = Informed
» The Result = Operational Excellence

Today, the computer systems used in finance and Human Resources utilize a complex combination of computer software, data standards, and work processes. A move to a modern cloud-based platform gives Tennessee Tech the ability to use an integrated system that promotes real-time communication, data entry efficiencies, enhanced security, automated workflows, and evolving technologies. Talon is the name selected for this new system and represents Tennessee Tech’s continuing journey towards operational excellence.

Change Champions can use these four key messages to guide discussions and keep their colleagues informed. In short, these phrases allow a Change Champion to summarize the need and the benefits of the Talon system for the university.
