In security education (Lead: Siraj), our goal is to improve the security literacy of undergraduate Computer Science (CS) students by exposing them to computer security concepts and issues in their regular course of study in CS. As part of National Science Foundation funded SecKnitKit project (Award# 1140864), we have developed cybersecurity educational materials for CS faculty whose primary teaching/research focus is not security are provided support for integrating security topics into their traditional upper division CS courses. As part of National Science Foundation funded CReST project (Award# 1438861) and in partnership with Towson University, we have been conducting faculty development workshop across the nation to train CS faculty to integrate and teach cybersecurity in their CS courses.
