Parking & Transportation
Any person who is not a current faculty, staff, or student may obtain a visitor permit. Visitor permits allow guests to park in any visitor space or purple zone on campus.
Requesting Visitor Permits
Any visitor may obtain a visitor permit directly from the Parking & Transportation Services office. When coming to our office, please be sure to have your license plate number readily available.
Departmental Visitors will be required to park in purple zones or visitor spaces on campus. Faculty and staff may request a permit on their visitor’s behalf. In order to do so, the department will need to complete a Visitor Permit Request Form. Forms will take up to 3 business days to process. Forms will only need to be signed by an administrator (Dean, Vice President, etc.) if special accommodations are being requested.
Fitness Center Visitor Parking
Fourteen visitor parking spots have been reserved on the loop in front of the Student Recreation and Fitness Center. There is a two-hour limit for these spaces, and they are for the use of visitors to the Fitness Center only. Faculty, staff, and students may not park in these spaces at any time.
30-Minute Parking Areas
There are some 30-minute spaces available in front of Derryberry Hall. Parking in these spaces is limited to 30 minutes. Vehicles parked in these spaces are required to display a Tech parking permit (any level, including visitor).
