Requirements for Admission

An undergraduate degree from an accredited school or program
State and federal laws require colleges and universities to be authorized to offer online degree programs in states other than their own.

Application Procedures

This is your online application guide. The steps below explain the application process. If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Graduate Studies at 931-372-3233.

Step 1

Apply online for Graduate School admissions along with nonrefundable application fee $35 domestic students, $40 international students.

By applying online, you will be able to upload the documents needed to complete Steps 2 through 5 of the application process. We will still need OFFICIAL test score reports and transcripts, but the uploaded copies will allow us to proceed with the processing of your application.

Step 2

Complete and mail one Letter of Recommendation

Step 3

Request official transcripts from ALL institutions attended beyond high school. Official transcripts are sent directly from the institution to Tennessee Tech, not submitted by the student. International students may submit attested transcripts. Official copies are to be sent directly to Office of Graduate Studies.

Step 4 - On-campus students only

Student Health Form

Documentation required of 2 MMR vaccinations as well as 2 doses of the Varicella (chicken pox) vaccine. International students must also provide documentation of the TB Skin Test completed within 6 months prior to registration. This documentation is required prior to registration.

Step 5

Standardized test requirements are waived through 2021.

Official score report from the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or General Test of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) if applicable.

Your application fee should be paid with your online application. If you did not pay your application fee during the online application process, please pay your fee here:

Once all materials have been received, the application file will be evaluated for admission by the College of Business Graduate Office. After an admission recommendation is made, Graduate Studies will notify the student.
