General Management
Get Involved
Expand your educational and professional horizons by getting involved in any of our
engagement opportunities offered by the TTU College of Business General Management
Program. The General Management Program along with the rest of the College of Business
maintains and supports student clubs and organizations, annual events and conferences,
and program-specific student collaborations and experiential learning opportunities
to further elevate our rich education experience. Getting involved does not only open
doors for future employment and professional growth, but it also makes for a more
memorable and valuable university experience.
Society for Advance of Management
The Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) is a nonprofit organization that
aims to promote the scientific study of the principles governing organized efforts
in industrial and economic life through the study and application of management theory
and practice. All students interested in leadership or business management are encouraged
to join SAM. The club supports professional development of its members with guest
lectures, fund-raisers, social events, and community service. In the spring, members
will also have the opportunity to attend the SAM International Conference and compete
in the case competition.
