Policy for Extra Credit as Incentive/Compensation

The Principal Investigator (or Co-Principal Investigator) cannot offer extra credit to students in a course in which they do not have direct authority. Extra credit can only be provided as an incentive for students to participate in a study if the Principal Investigator (or Co-Principal Investigator) is the instructor-of-record or evidence of a formal agreement with participating faculty to offer extra credit is included in the application.
