Residential Life
Greetings from Tennessee Tech and the Office of Residential Life and welcome to campus housing. We are very pleased that you have chosen to live with us on campus. We believe that you will find campus living to be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. Being a part of a positive learning community, which is also directed towards involvement and connections can have a direct correlation to your success and satisfaction at school.
Studies indicate that the more connected a student is to school the better chance you will have for success. Living on campus is a great opportunity for expanding students’ opportunities for campus connections. Whether it is getting involved in Village/Hall Council, getting to know and becoming friends with the many diverse members of your floor, working with your Faculty Head or just developing a relationship with your roommate. These relationships & involvements can often be life-long experiences that you will remember fondly well after you have graduated and are working in your career.
Residential Life is a self-supported department that exists as an integral part of TN Tech University. The Department of Residential Life supports the university’s mission and vision by providing our residents with the best housing and co-educational experience possible, allowing residents to learn together where they live together.
We offer residents opportunities to connect with the university through the core principles the university upholds: Academic Excellence, Community Engagement, Meaningful Innovation, Student Success, Supportive Environment and Value Creation.
We value residents opportunities to participate in a broad range of extracurricular activities, providing them tools to succeed as students, as well as to develop into self-sufficient, career-ready, productive members of society.
We provide residents with a reasonably priced positive living environment that is comfortable, safe, supportive and conducive to education, diversity and inclusion.
