MS Cooper & Pinkerton HallsMS Cooper and Pinkerton Hall

Hall Description

MS Cooper and Pinkerton Halls has three residential floors in a five floor building.  It is a co-ed traditional hall open to any major.  MS Cooper/Pinkerton is the same building with half of it being named MS Cooper and the other half Pinkerton.  In addition to student housing, the 2nd floor of MS Cooper Hall houses the administrative offices of University Housing and Residential Life.

Most residential rooms are standard male and female double rooms, with a few male single rooms that exist.  Male rooms are located on the third and fifth floors with female rooms on the fourth floor.

*Winter Break Note:  Residents that may need Interim housing during the winter break between Fall and Spring semesters will need to be assigned a room in MS Cooper/Pinkerton, New Hall North, or New Hall South for the Fall as these halls house residents for the break.  Residents still have to be approved to stay during this break and extra fees apply.

New for Fall 2023

The third and fourth floors of MS Cooper Hall will be home to the Service, Leadership and Careers themed housing community.  This community is designed for students interested in community engagement and service to others, developing leadership skills that will shape the futures they are building, as well as exploring diverse career paths and options available to them at the university (those who may have been admitted as Undeclared). Residents can increase their leadership potential and career readiness through community service, experiential learning opportunities and engaging in career development resources.  Keep in mind that residents on these floors will have an opportunity to shape it in scope and depth.
