Academic Support Resources

Students seeking academic assistance within classes have several options. First and foremost, students should use TechConnect (see www.tntech.edu/techconnect/student.php for information on how to schedule or request tutoring) to review available tutoring assistance based on their academic program of study and also the course enrolled.

Most tutoring services are coordinated by or with support from the Testing and Learning Center (www.tntech.edu/tutoring) and made available within TechConnect. However, additional resources may be made available from time-to-time based on students' majors or the academic department of most general education courses (such as chemistry, biology, math, and geosciences, to name a few).

We've worked to provide information on those below as they are shared or collected by the Launchpad Student Success Center.

PLEASE NOTE: If you need academic assistance and information is not readily available, please contact tutoring@tntech.edu with the course you need assistance with so the staff there can work to identify resources or help available.

Most tutoring services are coordinated by our Testing and Learning Center with access to services made available in TechConnect for appointment scheduling and/or request if tutoring option is not available for a specific course. Most common courses do have tutors established already; however, depending on the demand, some courses may require the Tutoring Center to coordinate a tutor for a specific request.

Information and instructions on scheduling tutoring services (and other appointments) through TechConnect is available by clicking on the button below.
