Student Veterans Organization

 

Welcome to the SVO

The Student Veterans Organization (SVO) is made up of military veterans, current servicemembers, dependents, as well as those who attend TN Tech and want to support our student veteran community. The group is very active and has participated in events both on and off campus, such as Dancin' On Dixie, Heating Up The Quad, and even assisted with cleanup efforts after the deadly EF-4 tornado that devastated parts of Putnam County. Participation in the SVO is a great opportunity for veterans and dependents to form lasting relationships and build camaraderie. 

The purpose of this organization is to ensure an effective transition to student life utilizing resources available through the organization, the institution, and Veteran Affairs. The SVO provides a fellowship of like-minded individuals who aim to create a network of students and alumni focused on professional and leadership development.

The SVO meets regularly at the Veterans Center and holds many events throughout each semester.
