Undergraduate Banking Certificate
The College of Business's undergraduate Banking certificate program is designed to
provide students with the tools necessary to pursue careers in the banking industry.
The 18 credit hour undergraduate certificate provides a combination of explicit training
in topic areas related to commercial bank management, expertise in designated subject
areas related to business, and experiential learning through practical application.
Students who obtain this certificate earn the knowledge of the language, quantitative
methods, and strategies to make immediate contributions to the banking institutions
and communities they serve.
The course and program content are directly related to the input received from the Tennessee Tech Banking Advisory Board. This group of employers provided the Tennessee Tech leadership team with recommendations to strengthen the skill set of students graduating from Tennessee Tech. The content of the certificate was identified as essential to meeting the needs of the banking community.
