Graduate Students: Solving the Problems of Tomorrow

As the state of Tennessee’s only technological university, Tennessee Tech develops innovative engineers and scholars who solve technological challenges to meet the needs of society. We are deeply committed to providing our graduate students with high-level research and professional development. Whether you are choosing to work in academia and need research and teaching opportunities or are pursuing graduate school to take your career to new levels, you will be working closely with supportive, entrepreneurial faculty to solve the problems of tomorrow.

The College of Engineering’s graduate programs began five decades ago, and today are offered across five departments—including our college-wide Ph.D. program. Administered jointly with the College of Graduate Studies, our grad programs are large enough to offer academic diversity and interdisciplinary challenge, yet small enough to ensure personal attention and rigorous instruction.
