Graduate Programs

In an effort to address the difficulties applicants are encountering in taking graduate school entrance exams, the College of Engineering (CoE) is temporarily waiving GRE testing requirements for students applying to the CoE Master of Science and PhD degree programs for both summer and fall 2021 semesters.

For students coming to Tennessee Tech from countries where English is not the primary language of instruction, Educational Testing Service (ETS) has introduced secure TOEFL in-home testing, allowing that exam to be conducted. We are also accepting the Duolingo test scores.

Questions regarding MS programs should be directed to the respective departments.  Questions regarding availability of funding for graduate students should be initiated after admission and addressed to the respective departments.  Specific questions about the PhD program can be either directed to the respective departments.
