College of Engineering - Nuclear Engineering Program

Power The Future With Nuclear Engineering

Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering

Nuclear engineers are essential to how we produce clean energy, protect national security, explore space, and use nuclear technologies to solve complex problems. At Tennessee Tech, you’ll learn to understand, design, and operate nuclear systems while gaining specialized knowledge about reactor technology, radiation, nuclear materials, safety, and security.

You’ll also benefit from studying in Tennessee, home to the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, the Y-12 National Security Complex, and a growing industry helping to shape the future of nuclear energy.
