Handbook Changes

Listed below are changes to the faculty handbook that have been made in the last 24 months.

  • July 2019: updated tenure and promotion pages to reflect new tenure policy effective July 1
  • Spring 2019: migrated handbook to new university website; updated links as needed for new policies and new website structure
  • August 2018: updated promotion page with additional Lecturer promotion forms and procedures)
  • July 2018: edited promotion and tenure pages to reflect new policies and procedures; added policy on freedom of speech; checked and updated links to resources and policies as needed; updated the Deans/Chairs/Directors page to reflect personnel changes
  • 11/9/17: added dossier checklists for tenure, promotion, and both simultaneously on the tenure forms and promotion forms pages
  • 9/5/17: updated the Deans/Chairs/Directors page to reflect personnel changes
  • July 2017: removed TBR policy references including the definition of faculty page (defined in Policy 203, added to the handbook); checked and updated links to resources and policies as needed; updated the Deans/Chairs/Directors page to reflect personnel changes
