Brown-Henderson Outstanding Engineering Faculty Award Recipients

First awarded in 1984, the Brown-Henderson award honors outstanding performance in teaching and research or service and carries the names of Engineering Dean Emeritus James Seay Brown and James Henderson, the college's first dean.

The Kinslow Engineering Research Award is given annually for the best paper written by a Tech engineering faculty member and published in a referred professional journal during October 1, 2017 – September 30, 2018. Nominees must be the principal author. The selection criteria include both research innovation and research applicability.

Leighton E. Sissom Innovation and Creativity Award Recipients

The Sissom Award was established to recognize innovation and creativity in scholarship, methodology, invention, technique, processes, or other unique contributions demonstrating creativity and innovation. Any faculty member, administrator, student, secretary, technician, or engineer associated with the College is eligible for nomination. The recipient will receive a plaque and a stipend that varies with the size of the Sissom Endowment.
