How Basic Engineering Works
Basic Engineering is a non-degree, first-year program for students who are eligible for admission to the College of Engineering but haven’t yet selected a specific engineering discipline.
You’ll complete foundational math, science and engineering coursework while exploring the many engineering majors available at Tennessee Tech.
As you explore engineering disciplines, you’ll identify your interests, refine your goals and prepare to choose the major that fits you best.
When you’re ready, you’ll select one of Tech’s degree-granting engineering majors and continue toward your bachelor’s degree. View Degree Programs
