A Message from the Executive Council
Welcome to the Tennessee Tech Student Government Association’s Mission and Vision page! On behalf of the SGA Executive Council, we want to extend a warm welcome to all Golden Eagles. The SGA is your student government – a body of students elected to represent you. Our purpose is simple: to make sure your voice is heard and to work every day to improve student life at Tennessee Tech.
As student leaders, we are dedicated to promoting a supportive and engaging campus experience for everyone. Whether it’s advocating for your needs, collaborating with university administrators, or helping student organizations thrive, we are here to serve the entire student body. Our Mission
The Student Government Association’s mission is to serve as the voice of the student body and to promote the welfare and interests of all students. We achieve this by providing the necessary elements of responsible self-governance and by acting as a liaison between students and the university administration. In our daily efforts, we strive to advocate for student rights and well-being, to encourage active student participation in campus life, and to support student activities and organizations that enrich the overall college experience. By upholding these commitments, the SGA works to ensure that every Tennessee Tech student is heard, valued, and empowered to shape our University for the better.
