Opportunities: Get Involved Across Campus
Tennessee Tech thrives on student involvement, and your voice and actions can make a real difference beyond the Student Government Association (SGA). While the SGA provides crucial avenues for self-governance and advocacy, numerous other valuable opportunities exist across the university for you to contribute, develop new skills, and connect with the campus community.
This section is dedicated to highlighting numerous ways you can get involved in university-wide efforts, advisory roles, and programs that shape the student experience and the future of Tennessee Tech. Explore where your interests match the impact below:

- Late Spring/Early Summer: Following the election, the new Executive Council appoints members to the Executive Cabinet. Application processes are typically announced then.
- Beginning of Fall Semester: Appointments are often made for Freshman Senators (from the First Year Assembly) and Transfer Senators. Various Committee/Commission memberships are also finalized.
- Throughout the Year: Vacancies can occur unexpectedly in any branch (e.g., due to graduation, resignation, study abroad).
