Video Conferencing for Classes

The video conferencing available at TTU is a cloud-based technology that can be used by faculty and students to interact with others using video, audio and screen sharing capabilities. We have two supported options.

Microsoft Teams is at no cost and is available to all TTU faculty and students. It is integrated with our LMS and easy to use.  Administrative offices should be using Teams.

Zoom Video Conferencing is available, but we have limited licenses.  These licenses are primarily for teaching faculty who need to use the specific features of Zoom, such as breakout rooms or HIPAA accounts.

Please see the online comparison chart to see the features of each program.
