Join us as we share results from Spring 2023’s Small Group Instructional Diagnostics (SGIDs).  In this session, we will share what this semester’s small groups said about what’s supporting their learning, what’s hindering their learning, and what suggestions they have to improve their learning. The instructional designers will share how-to strategies for incorporating students’ favorite learning methods and resources for both online and in-person instruction.

Personalized Learning - Data Driven Decisions

Personalized learning is an approach to education that tailors instruction to students’ needs. In this session, we will discuss the importance of data-driven decisions and provide information about Small Group Instructional Diagnostics. SGID's are a simple and straightforward evaluation process that uses structured small group discussions among students to provide confidential feedback to an instructor, generally around the midpoint of a term. Join this session to learn some practical strategies for integrating data-driven decisions in your course.
